Consequences of nutrient deficiencies.

According to WHO research, nutrient balance is responsible for protecting the body from non-communicable diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, stroke and cancer. A constant lack of any nutrient provokes the development of chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, nervous and cardiovascular systems.

Nutrient deficiencies lead to disease.

Our body is a well-coordinated mechanism, each organ of which performs the function assigned to it, and some are even able to perform the work of organs that cannot cope on their own.
Enzymes are needed for the digestive tract to function. The body itself produces them. But for this he needs nutrients, some vitamins, which are coenzymes. Without them, nothing.
Every day, old cells die in our body, and new ones must appear in their place.
Without proteins and amino acids, they will not appear. They will appear, but they will be flawed or unhealthy, which can cause serious autoimmune diseases and lead to the development of benign and malignant tumors.
People often believe that they are genetically susceptible to certain diseases. After all, parents and relatives have the same problems. In fact, the reason may be that there are nutrients that are difficult to obtain from food in a particular geographic region. Or the eating behavior of family members, which is very common. And everyone has problems with the thyroid gland, not because it is a genetic program. But because iodine deficiency is not compensated.

Diseases associated with a lack of nutrients.

  • On the territory of Ukraine, iodine deficiency is observed in 50% of the population. It leads to the development of more than 50 serious diseases, including autoimmune diseases, thyroiditis and infertility.
  • Lack of B vitamins in 80% of people. It affects primarily the health of the gastrointestinal tract, since the production of gastric juice decreases, the work of the heart worsens, neuritis develops, and the risk of developing skin diseases increases.
  • Deficiency of calcium, manganese, silicon - the cause of osteoporosis.
Osteoporosis is no longer a disease of older people. According to the World Health Organization, osteoporosis is the fourth most common in the world after diseases of the cardiovascular system, cancer and diabetes.
  • Magnesium prevents the occurrence of cardiac arrhythmias and reduces the risk of sudden death. Its disadvantage is a time bomb for the body, which leads to the possibility of stroke and heart attack.
  • Zinc deficiency increases the risk of male infertility and apoptosis of weakened cells. Apoptosis, or self-destruction of cells, is a serious challenge to the body, and not just the skin and hair, which partially take over this blow.
  • Selenium deficiency is the cause of congestive heart failure. The lack of this nutrient increases the likelihood of one of the most dangerous and lightning-fast diseases - myocardial infarction, by 7 times.

Prolonged nutrient deficiencies alter the body's metabolism and deplete internal stores of protein, calcium, and other elements essential for normal functioning. The body launches saving mechanisms by lowering the intensity of metabolism. This contributes to the emergence of obesity, muscle weakness, osteoporosis, immunodeficiency states, self-destruction of weakened cells, and cancer.

Most non-communicable diseases occur because the body lacks the necessary elements to ensure all functional processes. If the deficiency is not made up in time, negative consequences are inevitable. However, infectious diseases can also occur or progress more actively in case of nutrient deficiencies. So, without the right balance of omega fats and vitamins A, B and E, the body is not able to actively fight inflammation. Chronic inflammation affects the body and can damage joints, internal organs, tissues, and cells, according to a study by Johns Hopkins MD Keenan Walker. Inflammation can also lead to heart disease, stroke, and cancer. Not all processes can be recognized immediately, which makes them even more dangerous.

Do you eat regularly?

"War is war, and dinner is according to schedule" - said the Prussian king Friedrich Wilhelm I, known as the "soldier king", and science agrees with him. The 4 cornerstones of health are nutrition, physical activity, sleep, work and rest. A routine is a constant (daily) predictable sequence of actions. Our body compares and plans activity according to circadian rhythms and likes predictability, this allows it to adjust and adapt with less stress. When we eat more or less at the same time, stable conditional reflexes are formed in our digestive system.

If earlier our food schedule was surprisingly constant and the same for the whole family, now everything is chaotic - which depends on many random factors. Chaotic irregular meals negatively affect health. Researchers have established that irregular nutrition has a negative effect on cognitive functions, increases the risk of metabolic syndrome and the risk of cardiovascular diseases, and increases blood pressure.

A study, when people changed their eating schedule from a regular to an irregular one, showed that after 2 weeks, the level of insulin, total cholesterol, and HDL significantly changes. Chaos in the question can be permanent or periodic. Food jet lag, even only on weekends, can increase the risk of obesity. Chaotic nutrition even increases the risk of gastritis with Helicobacter pylori (HP)! Skipping meals can lead to late overeating, increase the risk of diabetes, and reduce energy levels. Irregular nutrition reduces insulin sensitivity and increases your waistline, cholesterol, triglyceride levels, affects hunger and satiety in people with normal and overweight weight.

What to do? It will increase the regularity of feeding. Eat regularly, at the same time. To do this, you need to realize that your productivity is based on taking care of your physiology, that the regime of nutrition, sports, sleep and work is the foundation of everything else. Therefore, start planning the week by putting in the diary and calendar the time for eating, and only then - work. Plan meals with family or friends at your usual time, create your own traditions. Increasing the regularity of meals helps to control hunger, facilitate weight loss, and improve biomarkers. Keeping a food diary will help assess the regularity of your diet.

Reasons for nutrient deficiency in modern diet

You are convinced that your diet is balanced, because it supports your energy needs at about 2,500 kcal. However, such a diet hides a time bomb. Deficiency of vitamins and other nutrients in our menu is at least 30% of the daily physiological needs of the body. These data are considered an axiom by scientists from leading research centers.

We live actively and at high speed, so we demand from the body a full return to work, training, rest. However, we do not get a third of the "fuel" we need every day.

Why is our diet depleted?

The pursuit of increased production and reduced production costs has led to soil depletion, water and air pollution. This is the result of the application of the latest methods of agriculture and intensive farming systems. As a result, modern crop and livestock products lack beneficial nutrients. The problem is exacerbated by modern food production technologies.

The body does not get what it needs and asks for supplements

We eat mostly animal fats, which contain almost no beneficial polyunsaturated fatty acids, so our cells do not get the lipids they need. High temperatures during processing and preservatives destroy nourishing compounds - nutrients. Such substances are not able to provide the body with the necessary quantitative and qualitative composition of amino acids.

Foods that are poor in nutrients due to modern production technologies tend to form a habit of overeating. The body requires to compensate for energy losses if not by the quality, then by the quantity of food.

Consumption of incompatible products

Each year, each of us eats an average of about a TON of food. In fact, for active activities we need 3-4 times less food. The digestive system of a 70-year-old person digests almost 50 tons (!) of excess food during lifetime. These are, for example, incompatible foods, as well as excess high-calorie food.

It is difficult for the body to cope with large portions, in addition, food is not always has proper quality. Excess food is poorly digested and creates a favorable environment in the body for the reproduction of putrefactive bacteria that secrete toxins. Constant resistance to decay processes depletes the immune system. Poor and unbalanced diet and the presence of chronic pathology violates the body's immune defenses. In such cases, the protective cells are unable to overcome all the malignant cells that form in the body on a daily basis.

The basis of oncopathology, as well as any other pathology, is a disturbance of the metabolic process; it is recognized by world medicine.

Nutrition in most countries of the world began to deteriorate significantly after the 1950s. In fact, a whole generation has grown up during this time. For underdeveloped countries, the problem is food shortages and famine, while the problem of civilized countries is overeating combined with a lack of nutrients in food.

Sadhguru: on the consequences of soil degradation in the US.

People eat thinking that it nourishes their body. It gives almost nothing, except for a feeling of fullness. Nothing else. If there is not enough iron, vitamins A, C, B6, B12, folic acid and other things in the food, you become more vulnerable.
In the 1930s, one orange contained what is now contained in eight.
What's wrong with our food?
There are medical problems - I'm not talking about that now. One of the main reasons is that there are very few nutrients in the soil. How little? Now I'm only talking about the United States. Soil depletion in the United States has resulted in a 21% decrease in vitamin A in all fruits, vegetables and everything else you eat. The content of vitamin C decreased by 30%, iron by 37%, and calcium by 27%.
Foods that are considered very healthy today - spinach, your favorite lettuce, tomatoes and other vegetables that you usually use in a salad - now contain only 10% of the nutrients that they had in the early 20th century. 90% less than at the beginning of the 20th century. Most of the time, you feed on water sacs that are extremely nutrient-poor. If we had the same level of nutrients, our ability to withstand the pandemic would be different, not 100%, but different. Immunity would be much higher, and the consequences would not be so terrible. So many people would not have died.
More than 6 million people have died worldwide. Nearly 900,000 have already died in the United States. Scientific studies around the world show that nutrient depletion in food is very high. It is tragic that when we eat food, we think that it nourishes us, but, in fact, there is nothing in it. I don't even consider the harmful effects of fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides now. And so, it is clear that it poisons food. I'm talking about lean food. This in itself is a tragedy. People eat thinking that it nourishes their body. It gives almost nothing, except for a feeling of fullness. Nothing else. And this is one of the reasons why we should be wary of pandemics.
I listened to the best virologists in the world. They all speak. That maybe it's not over yet. The very nature and structure of the coronavirus is...
We have already seen 2-3 options. Today we are talking about Mr. Omicron. Scientists argue that much more dangerous and much more adaptable viruses can easily evolve with a slight change in their basic structure. And they are quite capable of doing it at any moment. That's what every government, every scientist is afraid of. And that should be of concern to all of us. But soil plays an important role in all this.
Let's get back to the food we eat. If it does not contain the necessary iron, vitamins A, D, C, B6, B12, folic acid, etc., you become more vulnerable to any kind of respiratory disease. This is a well-known fact. The situation is very serious. Today, 90% of Americans are deficient in vitamin E. That is why this country has the highest mortality rate among the population. For 350 million people, there are almost a million deaths. This is the highest rate in the world. There are more densely populated countries such as India and many others. With the space you have, you should have been safe. But the lack of nutrients and irresponsible behavior cost us dearly. We must ensure that the number of victims does not increase. So, the soil is very important.
43% of people are deficient in vitamin A. With its deficiency, there is a loss of integrity of the mucous membranes. And this is one of the surest ways to serious consequences of any respiratory infections. We must understand that Covid is essentially a respiratory tract infection, which can later lead to various complications.
39% of people in the United States suffer from a lack of vitamin C. And vitamin C is very important for the production of antibodies. All this must contain food.
In the 1930s, one orange contained what is now found in eight oranges. Whoever ate eight oranges a day? Most people don't have the ability to eat eight oranges a day. What you got from one orange. Today they give eight. All things considered, the soil situation is a growing disaster for everyone.
I spoke with the director of the United Nations World Food Programmed. He is from the United States. He said $9 billion was spent last year to distribute food in Africa to the starving population. This year the budget should increase by at least 4-6 billion dollars. Otherwise, we will not be able to complete the task. Because we expect very high levels of hunger in many parts of Africa. He noted that people who think that this will happen only in Africa or Asia, unfortunately, are mistaken. He says that by 2035 there could be severe famine in Chicago and Illinois. The soil is so depleted that this can easily happen.
- "Oh, we will transport all the products from here to there, from there to here."
No. When there is not enough food, not a single truck will reach its destination. People will rob them along the way. Is not it?
- "Yes or no? You orange eaters, tell me, will you allow oranges from Florida to be shipped to Canada? You eat eight pieces a day. You will stop the truck on the way. I'm talking about riots."
Experts say that by 2045, major civil wars around the world could begin simply because of soil depletion. And the only way they see if people do not act is a massive transition to genetically modified crops. It is now so fashionable to oppose this, but it will be the only lifeline for the next 20-25 years. But after that, when everything collapses, recovery will be impossible. Unless you restore the soil. Every year, on average, about 27,000 species of microbes die out. If we leave everything as it is for another 25-40 years, then after that the restoration will take 150-200 years. If we act now, if we change the policy and start acting in the next 10 to 15 years, then in 25 years we will be able to change the situation radically.
I believe that this is our main responsibility both to ourselves and to future generations on this planet. What do you think?

REDUCED NUTRIENTS IN VEGETABLES AND FRUITS:
21% decrease in vitamin A
37% reduction in vitamin C
37% decrease in iron
27% decrease in calcium

THE AVERAGE CONTENT OF MINERALS IN PLANT PRODUCTS HAS REDUCED BY 80 - 90%.
MICROELEMENTS DEFICIENCY IN THE US POPULATION:
90% suffer from vitamin E deficiency
43% suffer from vitamin A deficiency
39% suffer from vitamin C deficiency

How to maintain mental health during the war?

February 24 changed our lives forever. Divided into before and after. We are not used to it, but we have learned to live with sirens. We are waiting for fresh reports from the front, we are mourning the dead, we are worried about our relatives and friends. Fear, uncertainty, anxiety, aggression deplete the brain and deprive you of strength. But even in wartime, there are ways to reduce the pressure on the psyche and maintain your mental health.

Don't follow the news non-stop. It is important to know current events, but do not overload yourself. Stop scrolling through the news feed, pause. Use information only from officially verified sources. Do not distribute unverified data. If you are asked to repost, call the number provided and make sure the information is accurate.

Plan your actions as much as possible. Even a daily routine. When you have a clear plan in front of your eyes, you automatically start to be more active.

Do not communicate with toxic people who make you angry or upset. A person on emotions is not ready to accept rational arguments. Don't waste your energy.

Take care of yourself. Take care of your health, nutrition and hygiene. It is important to sleep and rest fully. Live here and now.

Help others. Not everyone knows how to fight, but everyone at their level can benefit. Some find themselves volunteering, others continue to work and pay taxes, supporting the economy. Make donations for the army or homeless shelter, help lonely retirees. Take care of your family. A sense of usefulness and involvement helps to strengthen control over the situation. And it will also be a contribution to the common victory.

Make plans for the future. Dream what you will do after the war. This will help the brain to get out of self-destruction and work for salvation.

Compensate for negative emotions with small pleasures. Resources are needed for life. Watch a movie or listen to music, play sports, save yourself with humor. Artists even come to the soldiers' front to distract them and make them smile. Positive emotions are necessary for survival. Watch funny memes or videos on social networks. Restore the psyche so as not to burn out and survive.

If you feel that you can not cope on their own, consult a psychologist. Many professionals now consult in person or online for free. And a professional will answer all your questions and help you deal with anxiety or depression.

Learn to help yourself or your loved ones in times of panic attacks or emotional distress. If possible, provide access to fresh air and drink a glass of water. Maintain physical contact: hold hands or hug. This will help to feel the reality through the body. Offer to breathe with an emphasis on deeper exhalations. Or breathe together in a square. Slow inhale 1-2-3-4, then pause 1-2-3-4, exhale 1-2-3-4 and another pause on the same account. You can draw a square with your eyes. Talk. Say you're around and you're not going anywhere. Ask what color jacket you are wearing. Ask them to name five red objects, what objects are around you, what smells you can distinguish. If a person is shaking with fear, ask him to shake his hands and feet. How to shake off stress. It is important to ground a person, to bring him back to reality.

Help yourself to cope with anxiety and maintain health with the help of special complexes. For example, Relive Balance Neuro is a complex of natural chelated compounds of vitamins and trace elements. This is convenient because all the necessary compounds to replenish nutrients and protect the nervous system are contained in one complex. The uniqueness of Relive Balance Neuro is that the complex contains a record number of components that provide the body with more than 600 essential compounds. And it is very important that the recipe of the complex is tested by scientists of leading clinics in Ukraine. And the composition provides an effective effect and the absence of mutual exclusion of components.

Unfortunately, we are forced to live in conditions of war. So fears and anxieties will be our companions indefinitely. Therefore, it is important to learn to cope with new realities, so that after the victory to throw all efforts to rebuild the country.

Post-traumatic stress disorder: how to contain its "shock wave"?

Post-traumatic stress disorder: how to contain its "shock wave"?
War is a powerful stress that manifests itself in the moment of experience and echoes even more in the form of post-traumatic stress disorder. No one is ready for it, the body's natural forces are not programmed for it, words of support may be late or not accepted. What will help the body withstand the destructive effects of PTSD, says Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Doctor of Medicine, Professor Halyna Anokhina

Time does not always heal
Stress always accompanies a person's life. However, in most cases, their severity and negative effects decrease and eventually disappear. Even the longing for the loss of a loved one is gradually extinguished, transforming into a bright memory of her. As they say, "time heals". However, this does not always happen. Unlike ordinary stress, post-traumatic stress disorder haunts a person throughout life, often arising or worsening his psycho-emotional state, even many years after the experience. That is, it manifests itself as a long-term response to stress, at least four weeks after the traumatic event.
Post-traumatic stress disorder was first discovered in the United States in the military (known as "Vietnamese syndrome", "Afghan syndrome", "Eastern syndrome"). However, it also applies to civilians who have suffered or witnessed hostilities or catastrophes.
During 2005–2015, the problem of PTSD in the military medicine of Western countries took one of the leading places. Recently, it has become much more relevant in Ukraine. As of 2016, the prevalence of PTSD among servicemen as a result of hostilities in the Donbas was 10-15%, according to the prosecutor's office, 500 people committed suicide after returning from the war zone. Current events exacerbate this problem, as they have affected a significant number of our population, including children.
Types of post-traumatic stress
• Гостра стресова реакція від перших хвилин після травми до двох діб;
• гострий стрес до чотирьох діб;
• гострий стресовий розлад від двох днів до одного місяця;
• гостра форма ПТСР від одного до трьох місяців;
• хронічна форма ПТСР більше, ніж 3 місяці;

Patients with severe psycho-emotional manifestations of PTSD are recommended Relay Balance Neuro , in which the extract concentrate of 54 products of animal and plant origin is enriched with the most important components for the nervous system - choline (400 mg) + thiamine 20 mg) + methylcobalimin (500 mcg) + magnesium citrate 200 mg) + Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (coenzyme B6) 10 mg.
Choline (vitamin B4) is a source for the synthesis of the main neurotransmitter of the central and peripheral nervous system acetylcholine, which transmits nerve impulses in the brain from one neuron to another, and in the peripheral nervous system from a neuron in the synaptic cleft to the receptor m ties. Choline is part of phospholipids, which are rich in the nervous system. It is also important for the liver, adrenal glands and other organs, belongs to lipotropic substances that normalize lipid metabolism, is a donor of methyl groups for DNA. Choline deficiency in the human body contributes to memory impairment, muscle weakness, the development of fatty infiltration of the liver and other disorders.

Vitamin B1 (thiamine) is an important cofactor in glucose and fat metabolism enzymes, as well as the synthesis from choline of the main neurotransmitter of the nervous system, acetylcholine. Vitamin B1 is needed for the proper functioning of the central and peripheral nervous systems, because it is the neurons that use glucose as a source of energy and vitamin B1 deficiency can lead to their death. Thiamine deficiency leads to short-term memory and coordination disorders. Vitamin B1 is also a cofactor in the synthesis of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, and is very important for the myocardium. Vitamin B1 deficiency contributes to the development of cardiomyopathy.
Vitamin B6 coenzyme (pyridoxal-5-phosphate) is required for normal CNS and peripheral nervous system function. It is a coenzyme of metabolism of most amino acids, including neurotransmitters of the nervous system: synthesis of GABA, serotonin, melatonin, histamine metabolism. It has neuro-, hepato- and cardioprotective effects, has an anti-ischemic effect, reduces the level of homocysteine in the blood, enhances the effect of magnesium.
Methylkibalamin (vitamin B12) . Vitamin B12 comes in several forms and methylcobalamin is important for the nervous system. It is necessary for the preservation of the myelin sheath around neurons and for the synthesis of neurotransmitters, reduces the level of homocysteine in the blood, increases the level of cyanocobalamin.
Magnesium is one of the most important macronutrients involved in more than 300 biochemical reactions. Magnesium is involved in the metabolism of all neurotransmitters in the nervous system, helps counteract stress, reduces depression, deviant behaviors in adolescents, seizures, reduces the number and severity of angina attacks, has a vasodilating effect, reduces the likelihood of myocardial infarction. Thus, the appointment of a complete diet enriched with natural components of plant and animal origin is the basis for improving the effectiveness of other rehabilitation measures in patients with PTSD.

Slowing Aging: How to Preserve Youth and Beauty

Probably, almost every person would like to have a magic pill to delay the aging process as far as possible. So far, this does not exist, but there are several ways that can not only slow down this process, but even reverse it somewhat.

Why are we getting old?

If people talk about those who want to save their youth, ring out to look at your eyes, have a good look, energy, healthy, that clear mind.

Antiquity is a natural process, which is observed in all living organisms. Under the hour of the process, the building is known to reproduction and regeneration, the body is using the building to fight against ailments and is progressively weaker, and the fabrics, so that the skin, hair, teeth, begin to crumble.
Чому це відбувається?

In the world, old people tilomiri (chromosome ends) are becoming shorter. The waste of your life is considered as a marker of biological age.

Even if it’s a process that is still impossible to disappear, it’s definitely possible to help and wind three things back.

Let’s put a simple butt - like a ticket from a miner in’yane too fast, which means that he’s got a marriage, before the butt, drive any other lively speeches. And if at any time you remember to give it all that is necessary, then after a certain hour it will be opened again.

So it is with our organism. Everything that comes into contact with it, without any reservations, lies in our way of life

Recently, the University of Navarre (Spain) was determined that sweetness of the old should be deposited because of what we can Okrim tsgogo, zgіdno z їkhnіmi danimi, three or more portions of ultra-broken їzhi per day win the chances of short strands of DNA and tіlomirіv.

These products are called ultra-processed, as they are processed in a promiscuous way. Such a hedgehog does not take revenge on whole products and is made up of a sum of oils, fats, zukrіv, starch and proteins. And even before them, they often add piece flavors, barvniks, emulsifiers, preservatives and other additives, as a way to increase the term for saving products, and at the same time, the life of the body will be shortened.

You can deceive the taste and vision, but the body will not spend. After all, the need for nutrients in humans has evolved over a long period of time. People ate a lot of plant food that grew on clean soil and consumed what they hunted - without a variety of harmful additives, antibiotics and trans fats.

Most of the micronutrients needed by the body should come with food. Over the last half century, the environment has become very polluted and in addition to everything else, food products have become rich in substances of man-made origin. Such products contain few vitamins, minerals, polyphenolic compounds and essential micronutrients.

And many crops such as corn, potatoes, soybeans, canola, cotton and tomatoes are genetically modified, as they are more resistant to pests and diseases.

Fortunately, the 21st century has brought something good. After all, at the same time to eliminate the deficiency of vitamins and minerals, scientists have developed a huge number of vitamin-mineral complexes, the use of which prevents nutrient deficiencies in the body.

But our body is not a fool. After all, in the natural environment, vitamins are presented in various forms and combinations with other substances. That is, when we eat, for example, fish, we eat not just vitamins, but a whole complex of vitamins and minerals combined with other components of food in natural proportions.

In addition, there are vitamins that cannot be synthesized. For example, carotenoids, of which there are up to 600 species in natural products (lycopene, zeaxanthin, lutein, astaxanthin, etc.). It is virtually impossible to reproduce them synthetically and "put in a capsule". In addition, food products are so complex that scientists discover more and more new substances in their composition every year.

Currently, the scientific community is studying the so-called minor components of food. These are bioflavonoids, isoflavones, polyphenols, indole, cyanoflavonoids, resveratrol and others, which regulate a number of enzymes at the genetic level. These specific regulators have been entering the human body from natural foods throughout evolution.

What to eat in this man-made world to preserve youth, beauty and health

In order to maintain the health and youth of the body, you need to consume all the necessary components, including micronutrients and minor substances. This can be done with a personalized diet based on age, gender, exercise, metabolic characteristics. It is also necessary to use vitamins, minerals, bioflavonoids and other components and preferably in their original natural form.

Believe me, when you love your body and start taking care of it, it will thank you. By giving him everything he needs to function, you can not worry about age. After all, aging is not a number in your passport, but how you look, how you feel and how you feel. The ideal formula is a balanced diet, sports and healthy sleep.

If the last two points are easier to deal with, then in the era of artificial food it is difficult to follow a healthy diet. But Relay Balance can come to the rescue.

It is a multinutrient functional-peptide complex of essential amino acids, peptides, vitamins, minerals, adaptogens, antioxidants, polyphenols obtained by fermentation and extraction (at temperatures up to 40 degrees). The peculiarity of this complex is that it contains 54 natural products of plant and animal origin.

All components of Relave Balance are in natural relationships, act synergistically and do not harm the body.

This complex has been developed for 7 years - all this time the developers have determined the optimal and effective dosage. The research results were presented at international conferences: USA, Canada, Spain, Japan, Russia and other countries. Instead, studies that reveal new anti-aging and regulatory properties of the drug are still ongoing. Because Relive Balance contains natural ingredients, researchers are increasingly learning about the positive features of its components.

How to strengthen the immunity: tips to avoid getting sick

There are many supplements and products on supermarket shelves that show on bright labels that they help to strengthen your immune system. However, improvement of immunity is actually a much more difficult process than you might think. What can really be done to strengthen the immune system - read the material.

What is the immunity and how does it work?

Immunity is a whole system of organs, blood vessels and cells that are scattered throughout the body. The main organs of the immune system are the thymus (thymus gland) and the bone marrow. Important cells for the immune system are formed in the thymus - T-lymphocytes, and in the bone marrow - all other cells that protect us from viruses and bacteria - lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils.

Immunity is divided into two main types:

Type 1 - innate immunity and 2 - acquired immunity.

Innate immunity: This is when the baby is born, it has innate immunity and the mother's antibodies that the baby receives through the placenta. These antibodies can be present until the age of one and a half year old and partially protect the child in the first months after birth.

Acquired immunity: This is when the mother's antibodies are gradually destroyed, then the baby's immunity begins to learn to fight pathogens itself.

How does it work?

When any new virus or bacterium enters the body, the immune system learns to deal with it, then remembers it, and next time it has an effective strategy to fight external enemies. Acquired immunity is more complex and effective than innate, but copes only with "familiar" microorganisms. Therefore, it is important that the immune system of a child under 20 years old learned to fight with strangers, because after 20 years old the training will be difficult, because the central organ of the immune system - the thymus gradually becomes nonfunctional.

The first signs of low immunity

The first manifestations of disorders of the immune system are:

  • frequent colds,
  • prolonged increase in temperature,
  • chronic fatigue syndrome,
  • pain in the joints and muscles,
  • enlarged lymph nodes,
  • frequent recurrences of diseases, including otolaryngological, gynecological, etc.,
  • sleep disorders,
  • frequent headaches
  • rash on the skin.

Your immune system is incredibly complex. Its main task is to protect the body from the invasion of viruses, bacteria, fungi, as well as to fight various diseases and infections.

While it is easier to think about boosting your immune system than to achieve it, a few dietary and lifestyle changes can boost your body's natural defenses and help you fight harmful pathogens or disease-causing organisms.

Keep to a healthy diet.

What food does the immune system need and what does it like?

It needs all the same nutrients as the whole body contains. Amino acids are especially important, which allow you to quickly increase the number of immune cells, if necessary, as well as vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. If the situation with protein is clearer: eggs, meat, fish and other protein-rich foods, then the situation with vitamins and other micronutrients is more complicated, as modern food, unfortunately, it is poor in these substances. Full-fledged immune cell requires regulators of recovery processes, which are vitamins and minerals.

Get some sleep.

Sleep and immunity are closely related. In fact, inadequate sleep is associated with a higher susceptibility to disease. Quality rest can strengthen your natural immunity. Doctors also recommend getting more sleep during the illness so that the immune system can better fight the disease.

PubMed published a study including 164 healthy adults. The results show that those people who slept less than 6 hours a night were more likely to catch a cold than those who slept 6 hours or more each night.

According to the CDC, adults should sleep 7 hours or more every night, while adolescents need 8-10 hours, and younger children and infants up to 14 hours.

Exercise regularly.

Physical activity is not only to build muscles and to help relieve stress, but also an important part of health and maintaining a healthy immune system.

Numerous studies have shown that daily 30-minute workouts (from moderate to vigorous exercise) help to boost the immune system. This means that it is important to focus on supporting activity and regular exercise.

Drink adequate amount of water.

Water plays many important roles in your body, including supporting the immune system. Insufficient water intake slows down the movement of lymph, which sometimes leads to a disturbance of the immune system, and can also cause headaches and reduce effectiveness, concentration, mood, digestion and kidney function. These complications can increase your susceptibility to disease.

To prevent dehydration, drink plenty of fluids daily to make your urine pale yellow. Although tea and juice are also moisturizing, it is best to limit the consumption of fruit juice and sweetened tea due to its high sugar content.

It is important to note that older adults begin to lose the desire to drink because their body does not signal enough thirst. Older people need to drink regularly, even if they are not thirsty.

Minimize stress.

During periods of stress, especially chronic, which are frequent and prolonged, your body also responds by suppressing the immune system. This increases the probability of infection or disease.

Activities that can help you cope with stress include meditation, exercise, journaling, yoga and other mindfulness practices. Also, if a person finds it difficult to cope with stress, we recommend to consult a psychotherapist.

Take multinutrient complexes.

Deficiencies of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients should be eliminated by using multinutrient complexes, but preferably of natural origin. One such complex is Relive Balance Immunity - a multinutrient functional-peptide complex containing essential amino acids, peptides, vitamins, minerals, adaptogens, antioxidants, polyphenols obtained by fermentation and extraction (at a temperature of up to 40°C), it contains 54 natural products of herbal and animal origin. All components of Relive Balance Immunity are naturally interconnected, they act synergistically, not harming the body.
